Current Concepts in Arthoplasty 2019
Mentoring the Young Arthoplasty Surgeon
Once again, it is time for me to invite you all to the Annual “Current Concepts in Arthroplasty” Meeting organized every year by the Department of Orthopedics and Orthopedic Research Society, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The grand success of the GOSICON-FFN-CCA meeting in September 2018 was a great morale booster and has motivated all of us to work harder towards providing you a high quality meeting this year as well. Meeting is scheduled for the August 17-18, 2019, and the Theme for this year is “Mentoring the Young Arthroplasty Surgeon”.
Arthroplasty is gaining in popularity with every passing moment. The wide range of implants and technologies available as well as the controversies surrounding some of the routine aspects of arthroplasty have the ability to leave a young aspiring arthroplasty surgeon bewildered. Decision making especially with respect to the selection of the patient and the choice of implant, and, when to rely on modern technologies is the hard part of arthroplasty practice. The conference this year will focus on clearing the air about the crucial aspects of arthroplasty practice. I would like to invite the participants to bring in their difficult cases during a special session where our reputed national and international faculty will resolve the dilemma.
Of course, the meeting comes with its regular features such as live surgeries, didactic lectures and panel discussions.
I would like to request you all to block the dates and participate in large numbers and support this conference with your participation this year as well as you have done in the past.
Looking forward to see you during the CCA 2019
